The Southfork Drifter Restaurant is a throwback to the heyday of guest ranching in Wyoming in the early 1900s. Then, guest ranches fed their families, workers, and guests with fresh farm-raised meats and produce grown directly on the ranch or by neighbors close by. This way of life was common then – it was necessary given that the closest market in the town of Cody was a two or three-day round trip. Today, this way of life is less common – but it may be more necessary than ever.
To the greatest extent possible, the Southfork Drifter Restaurant at Double Diamond X Ranch uses ranch-raised or locally produced foods such as pasture-raised organic chicken eggs, organic produce, locally raised grass-finished beef, organic poultry and pork products, and ranch-cured and smoked meats. The food we offer our guests is the same food we feed our family. We hope you enjoy!

We feature local beers, wines, and whiskey, cocktails, along with a selection of domestic and imported beers, wines, and spirits. The saloon also has a gem of a pool table - an antique that was brought to Cody Country by Buffalo Bill himself as part of his historic Irma Hotel. Come unwind in a truly western setting - the saloon is open daily at 4 PM or earlier upon request.
