Weather

In summer you can expect days in the 70s and 80s and nights in the 40s and 50s (Fahrenheit).  Of course, warmer or cooler periods can occur.  Many summer days come with a chance of thunderstorms - these storms are gusty and can blow in cold wind, rain, or snow.  In the higher country it can snow at any time of year.  In addition to your warm-weather apparel, bring a thin thermal layer, a light jacket, and something to keep you dry - especially if you plan on going riding.   In the fall, expect cooler weather and elk playing a pick-up game of basketball!
